VFX reel 2012

I've picked up some stereo compositing skills and got a chance to work on several feature films. This reel includes a few new shots I've worked on this year. It is edited in the sequence of cleanup, stereo compositing, final comp, matte painting and camera projection work.

Stills

Since I'm working as a matte painter right now, I will put up my work from time to time. However, my artwork from work are not ready to be released yet due to confidentiality, hopefully I can show them someday soon.


once again these are stills from the 2 shots of my vfx reel. First one is created from a combination of photo images. The second shows before and after of an alley shot, I did a background extension using CG elements and photo images.

Visual Effects Reel 2009

I've just completed a year of intensive learning at Vanarts. These are 2 of the shots of the film project called "Follow" that I am planning to complete hopefully by the end of this year. The 2 shots are roughly finished within 2.5 months after production, from modeling/texturing, dynamics, matte painting, color style to compositing. Critque and comments are greatly appreciated.
